The rising golfer grew up as a mixed Asian, with his father, Vijay having Indian origin and his mother is Malaysian. 

Singh’s parents tied the knot in 1985, and the couple has been together for over three decades. His mother, Ardena, is a former employee at Malaysian Embassy in Fiji. 

Furthermore, Qass has an uncle, Krishna, who is also a professional golfer. Krishna was listed in the top 600 in the Official World Golf Ranking in the 1990s. He has participated on the PGA Tour of Australasia and came 5th at the 1992 Perak Masters.
